in 1930s, sage became graduate student dormitory. university-run student housing consolidated west , north campus areas, sage became of anomaly: student living facility in central campus area, , building combined living , classroom space. housed cornell career center in eastern wing. while sage rooms spacious compared other dorms, 1990s facility run down, university, planned transform entire building classroom space, did little more basic maintenance. 1994–1995 school year last in sage housed students.
