the icoc has history of on thirty years of evangelizing on college campuses. each year international campus ministry conference (icmc) held college students. in 2004, icmc in san antonio there 200 campus participants. in 2011, had 2500 students meet in 2 different locations, 1 in denver, colorado , in athens, georgia in 2013, campus ministries of icoc raised $12,900 chance africa , charity helps educate primary , secondary school children in africa. 2013 icmc conferences held in orlando, florida , san diego 2700 students in attendance. students set new world record holding lightsaber battle 1200 lightsabers being used, (bettering old record 200). these lightsabers donated orphans.

at university of southern california, school newspaper ran article criticising church, after questioning sources of article dean of religious life, revd. elizabeth davenport, senior associate dean of religious life, , sherry caudle, administrator office of religious life wrote letter editor. school officials said author s information outdated , misleading. said church unfairly , incorrectly identified problem group. said truth church has been positive influence in lives of usc students in recent years.
