2004–2005

prior joining indoor football, semi-pro team labelle community football league known philly outlawz. played in league 2004 2005.


2006: turning pro

in 2006, outlawz made jump professional status when joined great lakes indoor football league. during inaugural year, outlawz hosted first, , only, glifl all-star game. ended regular season @ 5-5 enough clinch number 3 playoff spot. in playoffs, eliminated second-seeded rochester raiders in semifinals.

in 2007, outlawz finish season 7-5 record which, again earn them number 3 seed in atlantic division playoffs. went on lose in semifinal round of playoffs new england surge.

2008

the outlawz finish 2008 regular season 6-5 record , #2 seed in atlantic division east. team take big step in winning first playoff game against new england surge before being defeated saginaw sting in atlantic division championship.

demise

after 2008 season outlawz, along new england surge left cifl , planned start own league, united states indoor football league. later 3 more teams, southland (il) chill, bridgeview red devils, , pennsylvania stillers announced participants in newly formed league. team had stated season start in march, around same time previous seasons had begun. however, start pushed april, may , final announcement made 2009 schedule out june 1. schedule never came out , team , league website stopped being updated. team shut down hellertown, pennsylvania headquarters. league website stated (the usifl) based out of cape coral, florida, however, usifl decided best not try , start new league venture economy in current condition. rumors of unpaid player , accounts never confirmed , lawsuit brought former coach dismissed without merit.
