mega millions

mega millions became available in new hampshire on january 31, 2010, cross-selling expansion date whereby powerball made available in mega millions-only jurisdictions, , vice versa.


the newest version of mega millions began in october 2013. currently, players choose 5 of 75 white balls , 1 of 15 gold-colored mega balls . jackpots begin @ $15 million. additional $1, megaplier can activated; multiplies non-jackpot winnings 5.


mega millions format change again on october 28, 2017. among changes $2 price point; megaplier plays $3 each.


powerball

new hampshire joined powerball in 1995. played in similar fashion mega millions.


hot lotto

hot lotto drawn wednesdays , saturdays. current version began on may 12, 2013; game changes included all-cash, taxes-paid minimum jackpot of $1,000,000. 8 white balls added, resulting in 5/47 + 1/19 double matrix.


although hot lotto had 16 members upon game s format change, vermont , d.c lottery have dropped out. hot lotto end 15-year run on october 28, 2017.


lotto america (future)

lotto america musl s first game, offered 1988 1992. new hampshire did not join musl until 1995, version of lotto america never offered there. new version of lotto america begin on october 28, 2017, day of mega millions format change (see above.) new hampshire waiting until january 2018 join because beginning keno game in december 2017.


lucky life

in 2009, connecticut lottery began lucky4life. 3 years later, expanded become regional game, called lucky life, played in 6 states. (the original 4+1 double matrix 5+1; lucky life drawings remain in connecticut.)


on september 17, 2013, changes included annuitized second prize ($25,000-per-year-for-life); first- , second-prize winners had option of cash in lieu of lifetime payments.


lucky life, on january 25, 2015, became quasi-national game. recent changes resulted in 5/48 + 1/18 double matrix. of april 2017, game offered in 22 states , district of columbia.
