lia spent stages of professional career in nsl @ south melbourne. moved on melbourne victory spent 2 years fringe player, albeit winning championship.


wellington phoenix

he moved wellington phoenix in 2007. lia scored first ever a-league goal in 1–1 draw against former team, melbourne victory, in 58th minute on 24 november 2007 in front of 20,938 strong crowd @ telstra dome. lia missed entire 2008–09 a-league season due knee injury suffered in pre-season, requiring full reconstruction. in 2009–10 a-league season, vince lia signed contract a-league team wellington phoenix. on 20 october 2009, vince lia extended contract wellington phoenix until end of 2011–2012.


adelaide united

after successful trial, lia given 1 year deal adelaide united 2017-18 season. made a-league debut club on 13 october 2017 in 2–1 win on brisbane roar. week later, lia scored both goals adelaide in 2–2 draw against melbourne victory, former club.
