reyes rose américa s youth academy , considered 1 of young prospects. debuted club on 25 april 2010 @ age of 17 in league against santos laguna @ estadio azteca, appearing substitute in 86th minute Ángel reyna scored game s goal. reyes scored first goal against estudiantes tecos during clausura 2011 tournament. score second goal against morelia in 2–3 quarter-final loss same tournament. gradually cemented spot in team s starting eleven.


reyes played final match américa on 26 may 2013, playing in final of clausura tournament against cruz azul, though playing in 26 minutes of match. due expulsion of jesús molina, reyes moved midfield, subsequently substituted off miguel layún.

on 17 december 2012, announced reyes transferring portuguese club fc porto on 1 july 2013 €7 million transfer fee, half of €3.5 million transfer fee backed gol football luxembourg part of james rodríguez s repurchase gol football.


reyes made debut porto on 13 july in final of valais cup against french club marseille, coming on substitute in 80th minute of match. fellow mexican teammate héctor herrera made debut porto in same match ended in 3–0 victory.


real sociedad (loan)

on 14 july 2015, spanish la liga club real sociedad announced had reached agreement porto on season-long loan deal reyes, no option purchase outright. reyes made debut on 22 august in 0–0 draw against deportivo de la coruña. on 18 october, received first red card real sociedad in 0–2 defeat atlético madrid, receiving 2 yellow cards in span of 2 minutes dissent.


on 8 february 2016, reyes scored first goal real sociedad in 5–0 away win on rcd espanyol.

reyes playing espanyol in 2017.


on 31 august 2016, reyes joined spanish side espanyol on season-long loan deal, club having option purchase player @ end of loan. on 30 october, reyes scored first goal espanyol in 0–1 away win on real betis.
