to implement decision of conference of parties of cms list gorilla on appendix of convention , taking consideration unfavourable conservation status , conviction gorilla benefit international cooperation achieved multilateral agreement, article iv agreement concluded in 2007. text of legally binding agreement negotiated on meeting in paris between 22–26 october 2007, under auspices of cms , attended 9 of ten gorilla range states. final act signed on 24 october 2007 , entered force on 1 june 2008, after ratification 3 range states. of august 2012, gorilla agreement has 6 parties.
