harry born in lindo wing of st mary s hospital in paddington, london, on 15 september 1984 @ 4:20 pm second child of charles, prince of wales, heir apparent queen elizabeth ii, , diana, princess of wales. baptised names henry charles albert david, on 21 december 1984 @ st george s chapel, windsor castle, archbishop of canterbury, robert runcie. godparents prince andrew (his paternal uncle), lady sarah armstrong-jones (his paternal cousin once removed), carolyn bartholomew (née pride), bryan organ, gerald ward (former officer in household cavalry) , celia, lady vestey (née knight).


diana wanted harry , william have broader range of experiences previous royal children , took them venues ranged disney world , mcdonald s aids clinics , shelters homeless. harry began accompany parents on official visits @ age; first overseas tour parents italy in 1985.
