the college holds cultural fests every year , students belonging other engineering colleges in district participate too.

lead programme @ vrec


nss unit established in college in 2001. day of beginning, nss unit conducting various programmes. main activities of nss unit @ vrec blood donation camp, anti-ragging squads, medical camps in villages, environmental awareness , other lead programmes.


national cadet corps (ncc)

the ncc unit inaugurated on 16 november 2013 commanding officer of ncc 12 (a) battalion, col. y s pathania @ vijay rural engineering college. vrec college in district has set separate ncc units boys , girls.
