founded in 1995 under name y91. in 1995-1996 school year went on air. became first high school radio station website. student-designed website can found @ www.wcyt.org. in 1998 name changed point motto music sounds like.


in 1999, , again in 2001, station broadcast live rock , roll hall of fame in cleveland, ohio. station switched 24-hour format on february 2, 2002.


for period of 2 years station have motto tomorrow s hits today, before switching fort wayne s alternative. motto changed again in summer of 2011, when format changed indie/alternative, music point. along playing music , deejaying, students broadcast school sporting events live on air. student broadcasters have garnered moderate attention columns written them in local newspapers , magazines video reports on local news television stations.
