producer momina duraid, writer farhat ishtiaq , director haseeb hassan mutually chose cast includes sanam saeed,maya ali, osman khalid butt, mikaal zulfiqar, hareem farooq , ali rehman khan, play leading roles of ruhina, behroze, faarah, wali, arjumand , suhaib respectively while abid ali selected play agha jaan. maya ali , osman khalid butt marked third appearance couple having acted in aik nayee cinderella , aunn zara. actors received overwhelming appraisal third appearance couple in diyar-e-dil. according maya ali, role of faarah difficult role had portrayed.


sanam saeed received appraisal famous role of kashaf murtaza in blockbuster series zindagi gulzar hai offered role of ruhina mikaal zulfiqar selected play role of behroze. both marked second appearance couple after success in tv series ek kasak reh gayi. in introduction both shared roles of youngsters falling in love, onwards episode 9 portrayed role of older parents.
