for sleeping formed in 2007 while mike champa, jerad pierskalla, david volgman-stevens , ethan trekell still in high school. self-released 2007 demo , 2008 ep lies live featured band s original sound combined melodic sounds pop punk influences, , brutal breakdowns. band later add bassist/vocalist london snetsinger, replacing guitarist/keyboardist david volgman-steven s duties band s main clean vocalist. local fanbase grew, band gained attention of fearless records, , signed in spring of 2010.

august 17, 2011 band announced support falling in reverse on headlining tour eyes set kill beginning in september , ending in october.

the band released music video song, m not dead yet debut album, cross fingers during october. band later contributed cover of taylor swift s song belong me part of fearless records punk goes pop volume 4.

outspoken (2012–2013)

on january 17, 2012 band announced entering studio cameron mizell begin recording second album. vocalist mike champa released following statement along studio announcement: fans can expect honest album that’s influenced experiences we’ve gone through past year on , off road. these experiences make lyrics on next album more relatable , open. also, it’s lot heavier cross fingers. we’re excited fans hear it!

incomplete me , break-up (2014)

on january 1, 2014, band announced working on new music based on fearless records youtube video announcing music being released label in coming year label artist.

on march 6, 2014, band announced playing of warped tour 2014, along pvris, summer set, scared, dangerkids, dayshell, heart heart, pacific dub, dj nicola bear, watsky, wax , 1 ok rock.

on may 7, 2014 band announced releasing new album, incomplete me through fearless records on june 23 during time on years warped tour. along announcement band released song teaser crosses first single album. on may 14 official lyric video crosses released.

the band premiered music video title track incomplete me on june 3 through revolver magazine. released single version on itunes same day. video being streamed on fearless records youtube channel. full album streamed day after initial release. incomplete me released mixed positive reviews, charted @ #2 on both itunes rock , itunes metal charts.

the group announced on facebook page on october 9, 2014, had disbanded.

on february 7, 2017, former lead singer mike champa announced releasing solo single on february 21 produced jerad pierskalla.
