mustafa 1 of sons of bayezid i, ottoman sultan. mother devletşah hatun, daughter of süleyman Şah of germiyanids , mutahhara abide hatun bint-i sultan veled bin mawlānā jalal al-din muhammad rumi. after battle of ankara in father bayezid defeated timurlane, mustafa bayezid himself taken prisoner of war. while 4 brothers fighting each other during ottoman interregnum, held captive in samarkand (in modern-day uzbekistan). after death of timurlane, returned anatolia in 1405 , hid himself in territories of turkish beyliks.
