honors program

the honors program seeks students want pursue challenging educational experiences through interdisciplinary , intellectually challenging courses. classes instructed more 1 professor, each providing input specific field of study. program includes travel abroad opportunities enrich educational experience (i.e. greece, germany, britain, arizona, , more destinations both nationally , internationally). students can invited program incoming freshmen, or students can apply time during education @ catawba. incoming freshmen seeking acceptance honors program must have 3.5 or higher weighted gpa, 1150 or higher sat, and/or 25 act score.

catawba created west scholars program in 2006. program offers scholarship north carolina residents, in addition leadership seminars, community, service, scholarly researched presentations , various other benefits. catawba 1 of 18 institutions in north carolina offer n.c. teaching fellows program.
