in 1970 attempt more co-ordination made. arya dewaker, arya pratinidhi sabha suriname , shrimati prantik arya pratinidhi sabha suriname formed ved prachar arya mahamandal suriname (vpams). although organisation, jagrat arya mandal, joined co-operation body in 1984, ended in failure.


in 1990s arya pratinidhi sabha suriname still existed, orphanage , boarding school closed , temple fell apart. nowadays there nothing left of house of worship.


today arya dewaker dominates aryan scene in suriname. confirmed opening arya dewaker of suriname s biggest , beautiful hindu temple in paramaribo on 11 february 2001. organisation counts fifteen mandirs on suriname, whereas 3 other mandirs associated it. arya dewaker has school organisation runs 5 primary schools, 3 schools vocational training , 3 secondary schools.
