gsesit

the graduate school of engineering sciences , information technology established in 1997 name of hamdard institute of information technology (hiit). later on, due main focus on graduate programs, renamed graduate school of engineering sciences , information technology (gsesit). initially, master of sciences in information technology – ms (it) offered inception of institute. in fall 2002, master of science in software engineering – ms (se) program introduced. recently, new masters, m.phil. , ph.d. degree programs being offered take active part in research , development , concentrate toward area of specialisation, , institute catering needs of professionals through short courses, certificates , diploma programs. ieee student branch established @ gsesit (stb62211) create research , innovation activities.

hamdard institute of engineering technology, karachi established in 1997 @ main campus. offered graduate programmes only. later on, graduate studies offered under institute of gsesit , hiet – karachi dedicated bachelor s programs only. institute offers following programs:

the faculty hiet – karachi includes 6 professors, 6 associate professors, 24 assistant professors, 12 lecturers, 20 laboratory engineers , few members of visiting/adjunct faculty. of 25 july 2013, director of hamdard institute of engineering technology prof. dr. pervez akhtar.

hiet – islamabad

hamdard institute of information technology, islamabad constituent institute of hamdard university, islamabad campus came being establishment of islamabad campus in 2000. hiet – islamabad offered bachelor of science (b.s.) programs in computer science, information technology , computer-systems engineering. then, institute introduced engineering programs in telecommunications , electronics in 2003. on advice of pec, 2 engineering programs (t.e. , e.e.) merged form 1 program b.e. (electrical engineering). applicable intake of 2007 , onwards. institute offering b.e. (electrical engineering) 2 streams, i.e., telecommunications , electronics. pakistan engineering council has granted conditional accreditation engineering programs of huic intakes of 2004, 2005 , 2006, telecommunications , electronics engineering programs. institution offers following programs:

hamdard institute of management sciences, karachi offers four-year program of b.b.a. (bachelor of business administration) in undergraduate category, m.s. (management sciences) program , post-graduate m.b.a. (master of business administration) program has been divided 4 categories respect time-span , previous education:

a three-and-a-half year mba plan students previous two-year bachelor s degree in discipline,
a regular two-year mba plan students having four-year bachelor s degree in discipline,
a one-and-a-half year mba plan students four-year bachelor s degree in business administration (bba) or equivalent,

faculty of eastern medicine, karachi

the faculty of eastern medicine provides education in field of herbal medicine, continues practised in many of islamic countries today. countries has, extent, enjoyed official status india, pakistan, bangladesh, sri lanka , south africa. in pakistan, in mid-sixties, government under then-president ordered official registration of hakims .

the faculty of eastern medicine established [to] produce graduates knowledge of eastern medicine latest technology diagnosis , modern methods management of diseases , health care . hamdard research institute of unani medicine (h.r.i.u.m.) included in faculty of eastern medicine approved academic council held on 24 april 2008. currently, faculty offers following degrees:

the hamdard school of law, constituent institution of hamdard university, opened admission in january 2001, on initiative of former chancellor, justice (r) ajmal mian, former chief justice of pakistan , then-vice chancellor. faculty of legal studies offers degree of bachelor of laws (ll.b.) through hamdard school of law in vicinity of city campus ii (cc-ii). unlike of pakistani institutions offer ll.b. courses in evening lecture sessions, hamdard school of law offers full-time semester-based course. activities held during three-year course include:

keeping in view changing global trends , advances in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacy council of pakistan , higher education commission have upgraded pharmacy syllabi , introduced advanced program of pharm.d. extending on 5 years. professional doctoral program designed prepare practitioners , researchers can provide patient-oriented pharmaceutical care in contemporary setting including community practice , hospital environment.

in light of recommendation of pharmacy council of pakistan , higher education commission, faculty of pharmacy, hamdard university, has adopted pharm.d. basic degree in pharmacy.

hips – karachi

hamdard institute of pharmaceutical sciences, karachi offers doctor of pharmacy (pharm. d.) degree students complete five-year education form institution. hips – karachi provides education students in collaboration hamdard university hospital, taj medical complex (a 300-bed hospital), k.v. social security hospital, site (a 335-bed hospital) , 50-chair hamdard dental hospital. students work , gain experience in pharmacy stores, pharmacies, cardiac care unit, intensive care unit, emergency, general medicine ward, blood bank , laboratories. evaluated attachment submission of projects, ward reports , presentations.
