early years

born in barcelona, catalonia, crusat product of local rcd espanyol s youth system. played 5 games first team during 2002–03 season, first on 2 september 2002 in 0–2 away loss against real madrid played 5 minutes starter, club went on barely avoid la liga relegation.


subsequently, crusat had second division stints rayo vallecano , ue lleida: in first, madrid side relegated, managed appear 5 times, leaving in december 2003.


almería

in 2005–06, crusat joined ud almería, being instrumental in andalusians first-ever top flight promotion following season scoring 11 goals. missed 4 games in subsequent eighth-place finish in 2007–08 campaign, totalling 2,693 minutes of action.


crusat had successful year in top division in 2009–10, almería retained status third consecutive year. without presence of striker Álvaro negredo, more depended upon in goalscoring matters , netted 7 times in 33 matches – joint-second in team – finished in 13th position (he collected 13 yellow cards).


on 19 january 2011, crusat scored 1 of almería s important goals, in 3–2 win @ deportivo de la coruña (4–2 on aggregate) meant club reached semifinals of copa del rey first time ever.


wigan athletic

on 30 august 2011, confirmed wigan athletic manager roberto martínez fellow countryman crusat having medical @ club after £2 million bid accepted almería. 4 days later player completed move english club, , made premier league debut on 10 september, appearing substitute in 0–3 away loss against manchester city.


on 19 november 2011, crusat scored first goal latics, making 3–2 hosts in 88th minute of eventual 3–3 draw against blackburn rovers. spent vast majority of second season on sidelines, nursing severe knee injury, , left club on 22 may 2013 after contract expired.


bnei sakhnin

on 30 january 2014, after more 1 year away football, crusat joined bnei sakhnin fc. in september, after recurring problems in knee, retired @ age of 32 , intention of getting manager degree.
