the new 12 launched @ end of august 1933 part of new range introduced wilks brothers. had new 1496 cc, four-cylinder engine producing 53 bhp. chassis new based on 1 seen on 1933 speed pilot , underslung going under rear axle. four-speed transmission featured freewheel mechanism. suspension conventional rigid axles , half elliptic leaf springs round. cars had 112 in (2,845 mm) wheelbase stretched 3 in (76 mm) 1935 space giving rear passengers more leg room. top speed of 70 mph , economy of 24 mpg claimed in contemporary advertisements.
