in 1848, søbøtker returned copenhagen. died in frederiksberg on 23 march 1854. buried @ assistens cemetery.


he became kammerherre 1830, knight of order of dannebrog in 1826, dannebrogsmand , commander of order of dannebrog in 1837.


his former country house Øregård opened museum in 1821. park open public. søbøtkers allé, located few streets park, named after him.
