the head of snail has 2 pairs of tentacles: upper , larger pair contain eyes, , lower pair used feel ground in front. mouth located underneath head. tentacles can withdrawn or extended depending on situation. mouth has tongue called radula composed of many fine chitinous teeth. serves rasping , cutting food.
